The duo Claudia Biehne and Stefan Passig present a set of three pieces on the theme of the power of nature and the Anthropocene. For many years, the artists have been pursuing experimental work on the transformation of porcelain, seeking to push back boundaries. Accentuating the abrupt removal of certain coverings, seeking out the memory of natural elements (flowers, fruits, achenes, etc.) applied before firing in the porcelain mass, or conducting chromatic research with expressionist consequences, the artists have opened up an original conceptual field.
