David Cameo
David Caméo was General Manager of the Musée des Arts Décoratifs de Paris (MAD) from 2014 to 2018. From 2003 to 2014, he headed the Cité de la Céramique-Sèvres public establishment (renamed Cité e la Céramique-Sèvres et Limoges in 2012). From 1998 to 2003, he held a number of senior administrative positions at the French Ministry of Culture: Inspector General for Creation, Technical Advisor for Culture to Lionel Jospin / in charge of Museums and Plastic Arts to Catherine Tasca / in charge of Museums, Plastic Arts and the Development of Artistic Education to Catherine Trautmann. From 1992 to 1998, he was successively Head of the Acquisitions Department, then Head of the Public Commissions Department at the French Ministry of Culture. He is currently Chairman of the André Wogenscky-Marta Pan Foundation, the Roman Opalka Endowment Fund and the Paris-Atelier Association. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the CIRVA in Marseille, the Villa Noailles in Hyères, the Rémy Cointreau Foundation, the Scientific Council of the Ecole des Arts Joailliers and the Association pour le développement de la Bande Dessinée in Angoulême.
