NEW

C14 PARIS is for authors of sculptural pieces (from volume to installation). Utilitarian pieces (vases, pots, crockery, accessories, furniture) are excluded.
Exhibitors are selected on the basis of applications sent via the registration interface on the Show website: www.c14paris.com  Candidate Area" tab, " Inter-school competition ".

Selection is made by members of the Selection panel made up of board members and active members of the C14-PARIS association.

Registrations are open on the C14 PARIS website between April 06 and May 31, 2026.

Price list

The show jury awards 3 prizes for which the winner of the Prix Inter-Ecoles is eligible:

  • Prix Résidence (encouragement of a process) which offers the winner the opportunity to spend two months in one of our partner residencies (Centre Keramis La Louvière, Belgium; Fondation Bruckner in Carouge, Geneva; Ensad-Limoges; Rairies Montrieux in Angers and Paris...). Accommodation and production tools provided. (Cf. Residency contract).
  • The Gallery Prize which offers winners a one-month exhibition in a partner gallery, in France or abroad. 
  • The Jury Prize - Andrée et Michel Hirlet Endowment Fund, which rewards the favorite of the Show's organizers and the members of the awards jury. Winning this prize enables the winner to..:
    - to exhibit free of charge at the show the following year in a 30 m2 space (podium, 1er floor). 
    - receive a cash prize of 3,000 euros.

Obligations of the C14 PARIS association

C14 PARIS is an association under the French law of 1901. All active members are volunteers.
C14 PARIS undertakes to provide the exhibitor with a stand that complies with what has been advertised* (cf. stand description, article 4 of the regulations) and with the dates given (unless the show is cancelled beyond our control - cf. Art. 11 last paragraph of the regulations).
C14 PARIS undertakes to promote the Show to the best of its ability and within the limits of its financial resources:
- on its website and blog
- through newsletters
- on social networks (Instagram)
- having a teaser video produced by professionals and put online at the start of the show
- having a professional photographer produce a photo report of the show
- by publishing a full-colour catalog reproducing a work by each exhibitor (3 copies of which will go to each exhibitor).
- (optional, depending on the choice of each exhibitor) by writing a text about each of the exhibitors, who will then be able to use this text and reproduce it as they wish, as long as they note its origin as follows: «First name and surname of author», Salon C14 PARIS, «year».

Exhibitor's obligations

ART.1

Participation fees

From 2026, NEW: students can apply independently. His or her school is therefore no longer required to pay the €350 registration fee and any transport and accommodation costs. 

Thanks to the support of the Fonds de Dotation Andrée et Michel Hirlet, registration fees, transport and accommodation costs are covered by C14 PARIS up to a maximum of €1,500, on presentation of supporting documents.

ART.2

Selection of works

The works exhibited are the result of a consensual choice by the selection jury, the Salon management and the artist. They must be recent and/or never exhibited.
If works exhibited are deemed to be contrary to the ethics of the Show and have not been submitted to the Show management beforehand, the management has the right to ask the exhibitor to remove them.

ART.3

Stand

Exhibitors are provided with a standard stand measuring H.250 x W.300 x D.100cm in 1.5cm-thick matt white plywood. 

The stand consists of 5 panels, each 1m wide. 3 panels at the back and 2 at right angles, dividing the space on either side (see visuals on the website). c14paris.com)

Some stands - including those included in the Four Seasons Show - offer slightly different configurations. Exhibitors will be notified of their stand assignments at the end of March, at which time they will be informed of the specific features of each stand.

Wall-mounted, floor-standing and pedestal-mounted pieces are also accepted. 

The maximum weight for wall mounting is 10 kg per piece. Do not exceed 3 pieces of 10 kg each, distributed over the partitions. If the work exceeds this weight, the exhibitor must provide a special structure. 

Exhibitors are responsible for the layout of their stand. The latter must be a real scenographic challenge.. The project must be submitted to show management in advance and discussed (April-June-July). Fabrics and curtains are to be avoided.

The exhibitor is responsible for restoring the stand. (filling of holes in partitions and repainting. Return to original white is compulsory). Exhibitors must bring their own materials (filler, spatula and roller). Paint will be supplied.

Stand lighting is provided. For fire safety reasons, no additional spotlights or electrical outlets are permitted. Any additional sockets (e.g. for video broadcasting) must be requested, and will be professionally installed by the town's technical teams.

Storage
Small boxes can be stored. Please indicate your first and last name on each box. Exhibitors are invited to contact the stage managers for storage.

ART.4

Presence at the show

Works must be deposited in the exhibition area and in the stand assigned either on the Tuesday preceding the show, between 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm, or on Wednesday morning between 9:00 am and 12:00 pm.

Installation takes place on the Wednesday before the vernissage, between 9am and 4pm.

A panel of ten judges will visit each stand in turn on the Wednesday before the show opens, between 4pm and 7pm. The order of visit will be announced on Wednesday morning. The presence of exhibitors is desirable but not obligatory. Each exhibitor will have 5’ to present his work. 

Exhibitors undertake to be present at their stand throughout the duration of the Show and during the opening hours specified, when the jury will be present and at the vernissage.

In case of absence one-off and inescapablethey must notify a member of the office present.

ART.5 and 6

Unloading / loading :

  • As far as access is concerned, the municipal police authorize exhibitors to park - on a temporary basis only - in the small parking lot adjacent to and in front of the exhibitor's stand. Please move your vehicle as soon as you have unloaded/loaded.
  • Exhibitors are provided with elevators and carts to move their exhibits around the show floor.

The elevator dimensions are as follows: width: 100 cm (door opening: 80 cm); depth: 125 cm

Maximum payload: 600 kg

  • If the exhibitor needs help, he can ask the C14 PARIS members present as well as the show managers, Pauline, Ingrid and Tamara (bilingual FR/UK).

Pay parking lots close to the exhibition site.

  • Housing

Reservations for accommodation in Paris (in youth hostels) must be made directly by the winner.

From 2026 onwards, thanks to the support of the Andrée and Michel Hirlet Endowment Fund, costs may be partially covered on presentation of supporting documents.

ART.7

Insurance for exhibitors' works

The C14-PARIS association does not insure exhibitors or their works. It is the responsibility of each exhibitor to take out individual civil liability insurance and to insure his or her works against breakage and theft.
Artists are solely responsible for objects and personal effects displayed or stored in their booth or in the exhibition area, as well as for any damage caused to third parties as a result of their installation.


ART.8

Reproduction rights

Each exhibitor undertakes to assign its rights to use the visual intended for the catalog between March and the end of November for the purposes of promoting the event (press and internet).
Each exhibitor undertakes to cede definitively his rights to the use of images made during the Show at the request of C14-PARIS to the delegated videographer and photographer.


ART.9

Sales

The room annexed to the Town Hall of the 14th arrondissement of Paris is not a shopping mall. C14 PARIS has no commercial purpose and does not intend to receive any commission on sales. The price list is indicative only, and visitors are encouraged to contact the exhibitor directly for any purchase requests.
The organizer cannot be held responsible for any disputes of any kind between buyers and exhibitors.


ART.10

Withdrawal of the candidate

If an exhibitor withdraws:
- after June 30, the full amount will be retained by the association.
By signing these rules and regulations and the registration form, the exhibitor expressly agrees to abide by them and by any prefectural or municipal regulations concerning police and safety measures, without recourse of any kind.


Any delay, change of date or early closure beyond the control of C14-PARIS will not give rise to any right to compensation.
In the event that C14-PARIS is forced to cancel the Show, all monies received will be reimbursed immediately. No recourse on any grounds whatsoever against the organizers or the C14-PARIS association is admissible.
