Uriel Caspi
Uriel Caspi's pieces invite a synthesis between the revival of ancient crafts inspired by the archaeological remains of the Middle East and contemporary studio practice. The aesthetics of traditional techniques (such as rope throwing) are sometimes combined with digital fabrication, demonstrating the predictability and randomness of ceramic materials, their processes and their limits.
