Lelizaveta Portnova

As a Ukrainian refugee artist living in Paris, Lelizaveta Portnova works around the idea of animality. Her work is less concerned with realistic or figurative representation than with exploring the construction principles of a zoomorphic form driven by the dramaturgy of the geopolitical context. She pays particular attention to surface effects, engobes and glazes. SLF-H
