Eyvind Solli Andreassen

Eyvind Solli takes a particular pleasure in manipulating clay, which he mounts with a pincushion, a patient and time-consuming process that involves both hand and mind. Tightly layered, rhythmic lines gradually take shape, creating infinite organic variations. The fingerprints left visible testify to the physical effort involved. The young artist pushes the heights, volumes, diameters and points of balance of his forms to the limit, creating a sensation of vertigo, tension and unease for the viewer. FB
