Eukéni Callejo
Eukéni Callejo is adept at creating large-scale sculptures, either wall-hung or floor-standing. These are abstract forms, often complex, obtained through the transformation of a material that he wants to be alive, composed of clay, cement and grog. The artist is interested in reaching the limits of matter. His aim is to materialize the idea of magma, of pure matter that ceases to spread and freezes in a slow movement.
Born in 1957. Lives and works in Bordeaux.
