Cyril Chartier-Poyet
Imbued with the power of totemic expression, his sculpture is fundamentally contemporary in its very humility. His recent works are a feverish reflection of the major upheavals in his life, and of the need to return to a certain narrative, to more spontaneity, to pieces that are, as he himself puts it, "in transition".
