Surface c\u00e9ramique \u00e9maill\u00e9e et perception de la profondeur<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>R\u00e9sum\u00e9<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00ab&nbsp;Cette recherche par la pratique artistique des qualit\u00e9s visuelles et esth\u00e9tiques de l\u2019\u00e9mail c\u00e9ramique explore sa capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 susciter une impression de profondeur. La profondeur qui rel\u00e8ve de la seule illusion perspectiviste ne pouvant r\u00e9pondre pleinement \u00e0 mes attentes artistiques et les exigences de cette approche entrant en conflit avec certaines de mes pr\u00e9occupations artistiques majeures, comme mon int\u00e9r\u00eat pour les accidents et les effets de mati\u00e8re impr\u00e9visibles, j\u2019ai soulev\u00e9 l\u2019hypoth\u00e8se d\u2019une dimension po\u00e9tique de la profondeur, posant ainsi la question de recherche de ce projet : \u201cQu\u2019est-ce que la profondeur po\u00e9tique de l\u2019\u00e9mail c\u00e9ramique?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jusqu\u2019\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent, la recherche sur les \u00e9maux s\u2019\u00e9tait concentr\u00e9e sur les questions relevant de la science des mat\u00e9riaux, de la pratique artisanale, de l\u2019arch\u00e9ologie ou de l\u2019histoire de l\u2019art et la profondeur optique avait \u00e9t\u00e9 le sujet d\u2019\u00e9tudes sur la microstructure de l\u2019\u00e9mail. En essayant d\u2019aborder la dimension esth\u00e9tique de l\u2019\u00e9mail je m\u2019\u00e9loigne de ces investigations ant\u00e9rieures. L\u2019esth\u00e9tique de l\u2019\u00e9mail c\u00e9ramique \u00e9tant un nouveau domaine de recherche, sans r\u00e9f\u00e9rences \u00e9tablies, j\u2019ai tent\u00e9 de d\u00e9gager des parall\u00e8les avec des pratiques, th\u00e9ories et recherches du champ de la po\u00e9sie litt\u00e9raire, m\u00eame si par \u2018po\u00e9tique\u2019, je me r\u00e9f\u00e8re \u00e0 une qualit\u00e9 qui n\u2019est pas seulement m\u00e9diatis\u00e9e par le langage et qui va au-del\u00e0 du champ litt\u00e9raire. Arnaud Timbert, directeur des PUS et Elisabeth Piot, responsable de la biblioth\u00e8que Arts, Culture mat\u00e9rielle et Patrimoine ont l\u2019honneur de remettre \u00e0&nbsp;:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Emmanuel Boos, c\u00e9ramiste fran\u00e7ais reconnu, \u00e9l\u00e8ve de Jean Girel, en vue de la publication d\u2019une version r\u00e9actualis\u00e9e en fran\u00e7ais de ses recherches de th\u00e8se r\u00e9alis\u00e9e au Royal College of Art sur la direction d\u2019Emmanuel Cooper et de Claire Pajaczkowska. Cette recherche intitul\u00e9e\u00a0:\u00a0<em>La po\u00e9tique de l\u2019\u00e9mail. Surface c\u00e9ramique \u00e9maill\u00e9e et perception de la profondeur<\/em>\u00a0explore la capacit\u00e9 de l\u2019\u00e9mail \u00e0 susciter une impression de profondeur. Cette th\u00e8se s\u2019inscrit dans le champ de la recherche\/cr\u00e9ation, il y embrasse\u00a0l\u2019hypoth\u00e8se\u00a0d\u2019une dimension po\u00e9tique de la profondeur de l\u2019\u00e9mail.
