Painter and draughtsman Thomas Bonny has always been attracted to ceramics. It was during a stay in Faenza, Italy, that he made his first earthenware pieces, discovering a new temporal relationship with the creative process, and new ways of working and exploring, which have had a lasting influence on his approach. Today, after years of learning and practice, this connection is at the heart of his multidisciplinary artistic approach.
The project he is proposing for this C14 show is a continuation of a series of pieces produced in 2022, entitled "La révolte de la catelle" ("The revolt of the catelle"). (...)
