Nathalie Perret

Nathalie Perret has rapidly established herself on the French and European jewelry scene, noted for her highly radical, conceptual approach. She designs objects characterized by great technical and aesthetic simplicity, to be worn or not, evoking the duality of birth and death, the erasure or resurgence of traces of the past, in order to restore the meaning of ritual in our contemporary lives. Ceramics first made an appearance in her work, through the intermediary of old cemetery flowers in glazed earthenware to be worn, out of scale and destination. She is now more involved in ceramics, shaping her own forms with subtlety and elegance, and self-taught.
