The pot, the quintessential ceramic object, serves as the starting point for Léonie Chauchat’s sculptural work. The poetic significance of this object and its status lie at the heart of her artistic exploration. The pot, in its capacity as a protective container, has led her to the broader repertoire of what she calls “shell-like objects,” whether natural or man-made.
