Leïla Helmstetter
Initially focused on objects and small formats, Leila Helmstetter is now seeking to establish herself on the sculptural horizon. She proceeds by accumulation Totems 200 cm, composite, space-hungry and seemingly precariously balanced. Each element is produced independently, and is only integrated into the plural sculpture after the fact. Aware from an early age of the challenges of agronomy and agriculture, it was above all the Namibian deserts of her childhood that left their mark on her (...). SLF-H
