Laurent Sébès describes himself as «a baroque artist». A sculptor as well as a painter and engraver, he draws his inspiration from ancient literature - «Ovid's Metamorphoses» - and classical literature, alternating religious and pagan themes. He is equally versatile in his technical approach, moving with ease from object to drawing, from color to sculpture and back again.
