With nine years' experience in ceramics, Fan's artistic practice articulates between objects for the domestic sphere, and in sculpture forms of subtle imprints inspired by nature, in the form of micro-histories. Working with a wide variety of subtle textural qualities, she explores how found materials can coexist and interact with clay, both technically and conceptually, to evoke and question the environmental crisis and degraded conditions we face as human beings.
