Sculptures of objects, suspended sculptures or sculptures to be placed or manipulated, brought to life by sound and movement. Sculptures of objects that - through the performative act - become functional. How can we care for our bodies while questioning our sensitive relationship with technology? Roxane Rajic feels she belongs to a generation she describes as obsolescent. The erasure of sensibility and slowness worries her. Her articulated, animated sculptures and performances reflect this need to repair and restore what can still be repaired, by creating narrative bridges between ancient and innovative practices, between the tale of the future and ancient technologies.
