Antoine Petel's work combines metal and ceramics. Ceramic has been an integral part of his artistic process for the past two years. It has replaced epoxy resin in his sculptural practice. Also a plastic painter, with a background in biology, he is interested in plant, animal and human morphologies, and has developed a passion for the ever-changing forms of the living. His ideas were born through drawing, grew through painting, and came to fruition through sculpture. (...)
