Stefan Hasslinger returns to C14-Paris with a new series of sculptures. Although still anthropomorphic, they are no longer simply busts. The artist continues the work that won him a Grand Prix at Vallauris in 2006, with complex forms on the borderline between figuration and abstraction. These are upright structures, curious and unfathomable. Almost exclusively, it is the titles given by the artist that guide the viewer towards a sense of meaning. (...)
